This past Thursday night, April 12, 2012, Del Mar was the first city of many that the bUZZ Ladies selected to ‘Happy Hour Mob’. It was the perfect location to kick off this fun event that is intended to bring women of all ages and backgrounds together to create awareness of our women’s social group, The bUZZ Ladies, Inc.
At our first of many exciting monthly membership events, we brought current bUZZ Ladies to 3 local, non-chain, hot-spots to try-out the happy hour fare, and share their bUZZ fun with any other gals at the selected spots. If you were lucky enough to meet a bUZZ Lady during this MOB, you probably have a great impression. How could you not with our fun culture (and your first cocktail comp’d by us!)?
We started with happy hour wine at Enoteca Il Fornaio, then headed over for half off bottles of wine and other food specials at Pacifica Del Mar, finally we closed the event with margaritas at En Fuego Cantina. The bUZZ Ladies ended up bringing more than $500 worth of happy hour business to smaller, local Del Mar spots that really appreciate the extra business. We try out new places at every bUZZ Night and bUZZ Event while also bringing much needed moola to keep our local economy bUZZing. (Pun intended.)
This was the first event for bUZZ Lady Claudia. She had nothing but praise for the group, saying “I haven’t had that much fun since… I can’t remember!!” The ‘Happy Hour Mob’ proved to be a great way for the women to get out of their normal routine and as we say for bUZZ Ladies, “Put the social back in social networking”. Many women in Pacifica Del Mar stopped Us to find out what we are all about and as often is the case, ended up making instant connections. Our MOB definitely created a happy scene wherever we went and we met a good number of new friendly faces that we can only hope to see at upcoming bUZZ Events.
